Ellen Romaine Dayton

Ellen Romaine Dayton, age 84, of Joppa, MD passed away on July 14, 2018 at her home. Born in Stewartstown, PA. She was the daughter of James and Mable (Rohde) Arnold and wife of the late Gerald Dayton. A homemaker, she was a proud loving Mom who enjoyed gardening, bingo, shopping and going to the Golden Coral. She loved her dogs and treated them like her children

Mrs. Dayton is survived by sons, Dwayne Cochran and Joe Cochran; daughters, Joyce Popp and Debra Foley; sisters, Lonnie McFadden, Dorothy Farmer and Peggy Shenberger; brother, John Arnold; and many loving grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also survived by good friend Charlie Greer.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, Jack Cochran, daughter, Jeannie Leach, brother, James Arnold and sister, Marian Workman.
