Elizabeth Mccaffery

Elizabeth McCaffery, age 71, of Havre de Grace, MD, passed away on December 2, 2011 at her home. Born in Glasgow, Scotland, she was the daughter of the late Edmund Thomas and Elizabeth Burke and wife of the late Patrick Joseph McCaffery Sr. She moved to the United States from Scotland in 1969 and lived in Baltimore City where she had been a member of the Canton Highlandtown Community Association (CHICA). In 1996 she then moved to Harford County. She enjoyed history, reading, and crafts, especially painting.

Mrs. McCaffery is survived by her sons, Patrick J. McCaffery of Havre de Grace, MD and Edmund B. McCaffery of London; daughter, Nicola F. E. Joyner of Salisbury, MD; sisters, Agnes Flynn and Lucille Friel, both of Glasgow, Scotland; grandchildren, Nastasia H. E. Correll, Patrick J. McCaffery III, and Carter A. McCaffery; and great-grandchildren, Joseph H., Micah G., and Zachary N. Correll.
