Elizabeth Knight Loudin

ELIZABETH KNIGHT LOUDIN. age 92, of Carney, Maryland, died in Lorien Riverside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Belcamp, Maryland on July 1, 2003. Born in Burnsville, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Silas L. and Minora Childress Beall, and the wife of the late Ralph Knight and the late Ray Loudin. A resident of West Virginia for 87 years in the area of Burnsville and Elkins, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Burnsville and of the Women’s Christian Society. She loved her cooking and especially baking bread. She enjoyed feeding the birds and traveling on a moments notice. She collected cardinals.

Mrs. Loudin is survived by one daughter, Sue K. Stricker of Abingdon, Maryland; one brother, William H. Beall of Hico, West Virginia; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and her two husbands, she was predeceased by one son, Robert Eugene Knight; and one brother, James M. Beall.
