Elizabeth ''Betty'' R. Harter

Elizabeth R. "Betty" Harter, a resident of Street, MD, died at the age of 99 on May 29, 2016 at Forest Hill Health and Rehabilitation in Forest Hill, MD. Betty was born in New Jersey to Pietro Realmuto and Marie Antoinette (Calandra) Realmuto. A homemaker, she loved cooking and was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband of 59 years Marlin Fredrick Harter; her son Drew Harter of Ludowici, GA; her granddaughter Andrea Davis of Tibet, GA; and her great-grandchildren Devon Dill of Ft. Benning, GA, Andrew Taber of Ft. Hood, TX, Destiny Chavis and Madison Chavis both of Richmond Hill, GA, Cierra Ray of Ludowici, GA, Presley Davis of Tibet, GA and Israel Mendez of Hinesville, GA. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters Mary, Josie, and Vivian DeFalco, Anna Spannato and Fay Conti; her brothers Sylvester and Frank Realmuto; and her granddaughters Shirley and Angela Harter.
