Elizabeth ''Betty'' M. Lowe

Elizabeth "Betty" M. Lowe, nee Bangledorf, age 72, of Bel Air, MD, died on November 12, 2010 at Gilchrist Hospice Care in Towson. Born in Edgewood, MD, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Anna Bangledorf. She retired after 50 years of Administrative and Accounting positions. She was an avid bowler in the 1960's and again in the 1990's. She was a lifelong member of the Rebekah Lodge, and a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church. She was also a loyal Baltimore Orioles and Baltimore Ravens fan. Her Sunday dinners were enjoyed by family and friends.

Mrs. Lowe is survived by her daughters Donna Smith and Pamela Lowe, both of Bel Air, MD; two brothers, William Bangledorf of Riverside, MD and Robert Bangledorf of Bel Air, MD; one sister Barbara Ford of Tompkinsville, KY; 5 grandchildren, Ron Clontz, Jr., Derrick Smith, Jessie Mayes, Shawn Mayes, and Amanda Mayes; 2 great-grandchildren, Aiva Mayes and Anthony Mayes. Betty is also survived by many lifelong friends, including Georgia Cooper, Peggy Sexton, Joan Harding, Carol Norris and families.

Services are private with Pastor Blaise Sedney officiating.

Pallbearers will be George Smith, Derrick Smith, Ron Clontz, Jr., Jessie Mayes, Shawn Mayes, and Amanda Mayes.

In lieu of flowers, contributions are being accepted by the family, towards a Tribute Plaque which will be placed on the garden wall at Gilchrist Hospice, to honor Betty.
