Elizabeth "Betty" A. Brown

Elizabeth "Betty" A. Brown, age 79, of Conowingo, Maryland passed away on February 26, 2022 at her home. Born in Street, Maryland, she was the daughter of Clarence and Helen (Fabiszak) Brown. 

She was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church - Hickory and Ladies Auxiliary VFW Aberdeen Post #10028.  She retired from Bizerba USA where she worked as a printing inspector.  She had also worked at BATA Shoe Company and was a waitress.  She loved playing BINGO and the lottery and doing word searches.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family. She especially enjoyed her grandchildren and found particular pleasure watching them participate in sports.  She was the matriarch of the family.  Everyone went to Aunt Betty for advice.  

Elizabeth is survived by two daughters, Beth Newby, (Beth’s husband, Lance), and Cathy Tudor; four grandchildren, Mary Hartley, Jordin Newby, Austin Newby and Ashley Shupe; great grandchildren, William, Eva & Emily Hartley, Wyatt, Zane & Nico Shupe, Skylar Dishon and Shyann Camacho; siblings, Sharon Funk, Anthony & Michael Brown; she was Aunt Betty to many nieces, nephews, great nieces & great nephews.

She was preceded in death by a son, Roy Christopher, and siblings, Miriam Reno, Carolyn Myhre and Robert Brown.
