Elizabeth ''Betsy'' Miller

Elizabeth "Betsy" Miller, age 70, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on April 9, 2012 at Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Born in Chestertown, MD, she was the daughter of John Glenn Messick of Queenstown, MD and the late Mary Virginia Barton Messick. She was a devoted and loving wife, Mom and Mom-Mom. She had worked at Holden's Photography Studio in Bel Air for over 15 years and retired to become a day care mom to her four granddaughters. She was a former Girl Scout Leader and loved flower gardening, bird watching, sewing, and aerobics. She had a love of all animals and loved many dogs and cats through the years, but was especially devoted to her poodles.

In addition to her father she is survived by her husband of 53 years, Benjamin Leroy Miller of Bel Air, MD; daughters, Dawn Massarelli, Suzanne Ankerbrand and husband, Ken, and Nancy Suellen Brewer and husband, Chris, all of Bel Air, MD; brother, William Messick of Havre de Grace, MD; and grandchildren, Amanda, Jessica and Tori Massarelli and Krystal Ankerbrand. In addition to her mother, she was predeceased by her brother, John Messick.
