ELIZABETH A. SUSNOWITZ, age 89, of Edgewood, died at Franklin Square Hospital on October 12, 2003. Born in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Henry Herman and Elizabeth M. Hessler Fries, and the wife of the late Frederick Kipp and the late Vincent Susnowitz. She had worked at the General Motors Plant, Broening Highway in the cafeteria. She enjoyed going to the Senior Center in Edgewood, and went on many bus trips. She was an avid reader, enjoyed crafts, Bingo, and exercise class at the Senior Center in Edgewood. She loved soap operas and the game show network. She enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Susnowitz is survived by two daughters, Joan E. Petza of Chase; M. Janet Harris of Edgewood; two brothers, Harry Fries of California; James L. Fries of Baltimore; one sister, Gloria Chubb of Anne Arundel County; six grandchildren, Mark D. Petza of Baltimore; Christopher C. Petza of Baltimore; Gregory A. Petza of Baltimore; Jeffrey S. Harris of Edgewood; Brian K. Harris of Railroad, Pennsylvania; Jennifer L. Bricher of Chase; and six great-grandchildren.
