Elizabeth Ann Jones

Elizabeth Ann Jones, of Aberdeen, MD, died at the age of 80 on December 1, 2016 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air. She was born in West Jefferson, NC to Vaughn Gather and Juanita Iva (Houck) Gilley. Previously she had worked at Glen Eagles Sewing Factory in Bel Air for over 33 years, the McDonalds in Havre de Grace and was currently employed by The Maryland House where she had worked for over 29 years. She loved spending time with her family.

Survivors include her children, Richard A. Jones, Martin L. Jones and Connie L. Erby and husband, David, all of Aberdeen; her siblings, Gather V. Gilley of Colora, Gerald Gilley of New Castle, DE, Samuel L. Gilley of Baltimore, David A. Gilley of Joppa, Mary G. Gordon of Barstow, CA and Peggy S. Miller of Baltimore; her grandchildren, Heidi Jones of Perryville, David Erby III of Aberdeen and Richard Jones Jr. of Aberdeen; and great-grandchildren, Lexie Beattie-Jones of Whiteford and Cameron Mann-Jones of Perryville. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Nancy C. Hawkins and her granddaughter, Hannah Erby.
