Jean W. Dornbush of Bel Air, MD, passed away on April 23, 2018 at Forest Hill Health and Rehabilitation in Forest Hill. Born in Snow Hill, MD, she was the daughter of Norman and Mae Ward, graduated from Snow Hill High School and served as Deputy Treasurer of Worcester County for five years. In 1968-1974 she began working for The United States Environmental Hygiene Agency and in 1974-1980 she became the Administrative Assistant to the Commander. Mrs. Dornbush served as a Deacon and Elder of The Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church in Joppa, volunteered at Franklin Square Hospital, volunteered at Anna’s House. Upon her death she was an active member of Christ Our King Presbyterian Church in Bel Air. Her main interests in life were: her church, family, reading, traveling, knitting little caps for newborn babies at Franklin Square Hospital and knitting lap robes for family and nursing homes.
Mrs. Dornbush was preceded in death by her husband, Louis Dornbush in 2006. She is survived by a daughter, Linda, and her husband, David Bulluck, of Memphis, TN. A son, William, and his wife, Rosemary Green, of Joppa, a grandson, Jason Bulluck of Bel Air, a grandson, Jared Bulluck of Memphis, TN, a sister, Betty Tilghman, of Snow Hill, and two nieces in Salisbury. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, William Green Jr. in 1977.
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to Christ Our King Presbyterian Church, 10 Lexington Road, Bel Air, MD 21014.
