Elena Davis, age 65, of Essex, MD, passed away on November 17, 2012 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson, MD. Born in Brooklyn, NY, she was the daughter of Thelma Davis Alexander and wife of the late Raymond Davis. She loved languages, including English, Spanish and French and went back to school in 1997 to start teaching. She taught English at both Chesapeake High School in Essex and Crossroads Center in White Marsh. A member of Jehovah's Witnesses since 1970, she was a people person who loved life and her family, music, teaching and antiques.
Ms. Davis is survived by her sons, Raymond D. Davis of Stone Mountain, GA and Lovett Davis II of White Marsh, MD; daughters, Robin K. Davis-Sabatini of Essex, MD, Kellee L. Davis of Columbia, MD and Wendy C. Davis of White Marsh, MD; and three grandchildren, Eric Davis, Teia Elena Peirce and Joshua Giovanni Sabatini. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother Clareance Joyner of Manchester, CT.
