Eleanor Kathleen Jones

Eleanor Kathleen Jones, age 72, of Edgewood, MD, died on June 23, 2010 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Knoxville, TN, she was the daughter of the late Kelsie and Martha Hall Perkins and wife, for 51 years, of the late Ray Jones. A resident of Edgewood for 41 years, she worked as a medical secretary, and was an active member of Presbury United Methodist Church. She enjoyed bowling, visiting Delaware Park, gardening, computer games, and making crafts.

Mrs. Jones is survived by her daughter, Shirley A. Roberts and husband, John W., of Edgewood, MD, Karen L. Hannah of Conowingo, MD, and Christina M. Suit and husband, Kelly, of Winter Haven, FL; brother, Floyd Perkins of Dundalk, MD; sister, Shelby Zaicko of Churchville, MD; five grandchildren, John W. Roberts Jr. of Bel Air, MD, Heather R. Beall of Aberdeen, MD, Ashley N. Hannah of Conowingo, MD, and Breanna M. and Connor R. Suit, both of Winter Haven, FL; and great-granddaughter, Makailey N. Lynch of Conowingo, MD. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brothers, Charles, James, and Jennings Perkins and sisters, Frances Sigmon and Luda Mae Ganoe.
