Eleanor E. Smith

Eleanor E. Smith, age 79, of Abingdon, MD passed away on September 7, 2017 at Lorien Bulle Rock in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Edgewood, MD, she was the daughter of Wilbur and Helen (Daugharty) Cullum and wife of the late John Norman Smith. A homemaker, she was born and raised in Harford County. She belonged to Friendship Garden Club in Bel Air and was one of the founding members. She loved flowers and had won many awards for her flowers at competitions. She loved all animals, especially dogs, horses, and birds. She was an amazing grandmother and loved spending time with her grandchildren!

Mrs. Smith is survived by her sons, Gary N. Smith and Steven A. Smith (Lisa); grandchildren, Tiffany N. Herbert, Tyler Smith, Elizabeth E. Smith and Nathan C. Smith; great-grandchildren, Gavin Herbert and Courtney Smith; and her cherished dog, Ellie.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Kenneth G. Cullum.
