Eleanor V. Dell'Aquila

Eleanor V. Dell'Aquila, age 79, of Whiteford, Maryland, passed away on February 2, 2024, at Sterling Care Riverside in Belcamp, Maryland. Born in Worcester, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Martin and Mary (Atchue) Drohan and the devoted wife of the late Raymond Dell'Aquila.

Eleanor dedicated 25 years of her life to the City of Westfield School District in Massachusetts, where she served in various roles, including para-professional and office staff, before retiring in 2012. Her commitment to education touched the lives of many students and colleagues. A resident of Harford County for the past decade, Eleanor brought warmth and kindness to her community.

In her leisure time, Eleanor found joy in playing cards, camping, and immersing herself in the melodies of her favorite artist, Mr. Charisma. These simple pleasures reflected her vibrant spirit and love for life.

Eleanor is survived by her son, Michael Dell'Aquila and his partner, Shauna, daughters, Christine Hagan, Kathy Malo and her husband, Dave, and Mary E. Dell'Aquila and her partner, Jeffry Croteau. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren: Andrew D. Hagan and his wife, Belen, Alexis, Mikaela Dell'Aquila, Cheyanne, and Dylan Croteau, and Felicity Dell'Aquila-Croteau. She was also a proud great-grandmother to Mia Diaz, Andrѐa Hagan, and Aaliyah Sieling.

In addition to her husband and parents, Eleanor was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Drohan, and sisters, Betty Peloquin, and Margaret Dyon.

A heartfelt interment will take place at the Massachusetts Veteran Cemetery in Agawam on February 9, 2024.
