Eleanor Coale Walter

Eleanor Coale Walter, age 97, of Bel Air, MD passed away on May 17, 2017 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Churchville, she was the daughter of Edgar and Mary (Mitchell) Coale, and wife of the late Charles E. Walter Sr. She was a member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist Church where she was active in church activities for many years. She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and sunny afternoons on her front porch.

Mrs. Walter is survived by her children, Charles E. Walter (Mara) of Forest Hill, John C. Walter (Cheryl) of Bel Air, Martha Walter Boniface (Harry) of Bel Air, and N. Kay Walter Bailey of Greensboro, NC; 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Walter was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Edgar Coale, Jr., her sisters, Mary Elizabeth Coale and Martha Coale Simmons, and her grandson, Wade Knight Walter.
