Edwin Russell Prather

Edwin Russell Prather passed away at the age of 87 on May 8, 2016 at his home in Edgewood, MD. He was born and raised in New Jersey to the late Norman Mundy Prather and Ruth (Russell) Prather. He loved to drive and because of his truck driving experience at his job that he very much enjoyed, he knew his way all around Maryland. He was very handy and had built his own garage. He loved animals and going to Ocean City with his family and was a wonderful and loving husband and dad.

Mr. Prather is survived by his wife of 71 years, Louise Mary Prather; sons, Russell Prather of Bel Air, Charles Prather of Las Vegas, NV, Gregory Prather (Deborah) of Felton, PA; daughters, Linda Williamson (Guy) of Bel Air and Grace Snyder (Albert) of Bel Air; daughter-in-law Patsy Prather; sisters, Joyce Givens of Tampa, FL and Sue Marks of Baltimore; 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his son, Tony Prather and his daughter-in-law Janice Prather.
