EDWARD V. OLESZCZUK, age 90, of Bel Air, MD, died on March 2, 2008 at Forest Hill Health and Rehabilitation in Forest Hill, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Stanislaus and Stella Block Oleszczuk and husband, for 48 years, of the late Marcella M. Hartman Oleszczuk. He was an Army veteran serving our country during WWII and was a member of the VFW 9083 in Parkville, MD and the International Longshoreman's Association #333. He worked, for 41 years, as a longshoreman at the Port of Baltimore and enjoyed gardening.

Mr. Oleszczuk is survived by a son, Stephen E. Oleszczuk of Fallston, MD; two daughters, Janice Ann Houck and her husband, Ronald, and Mary Ellen Stiller and her husband, Charles, all of Bel Air, MD; three sisters, Katherine Zipp of Parkville, MD, Angeline Tadowski of Perry Hall, MD, and Lucy Jashick of Baltimore, MD; three grandchildren, Deanna L. Grimm of Forest Hill, MD, Scott L. Westfall of Abingdon, MD, and Dustin C. Stiller of Bel Air, MD; and four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Scott L. Westfall, Kristopher J. Grimm, and Dustin C. Stiller.
