Edward T. Pape

EDWARD T. PAPE, age 61, of Abingdon, MD, died on December 4, 2008 at St. Francis Hospital in Wilmington, DE. Born in Frostburg, MD, he was the son of the late Clement Edward and Elizabeth Jane McCarthy Pape. A Harford County resident for 35 years, he was the owner of a construction company. He coached both baseball and soccer for Abingdon Recreation and helped with his son's Cub Scout den.

Mr. Pape is survived by his wife, Carol Jean Smith Pape of Abingdon, MD; three sons, Justin Edward Pape of Abingdon, MD, Wilbert Mohr of Wisconsin and Kenneth Mohr of Highlandtown, MD; a daughter, Sandra Hensley of Middle River, MD; two brothers, John Paul Pape of Abingdon, MD and Clemeth "Bud" Pape of Middle River, MD; two sisters, Sharon Gafney of Fallston, MD and Connie Tilley of New Jersey; seven grandchildren; one great grandson, Juilian; and nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Edward Pape Jr.
