Edward Roy James of Aberdeen, MD died on July 25, 2016 at the age of 92 at Hart Heritage Estates in Street, MD. Born in Aberdeen to Jacob Gilbert and Emma Louisa (Leighton) James, he was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in WWII. He was a mail carrier for the U.S. Postal Service, a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and was an avid outdoorsman. His gentle nature endeared him to all.
Mr. James is survived by his wife of 45 years, Verna Lee James; sons, Paul Bull Jr. of Aberdeen and David James of Tennessee; daughters, Diana James of Albuquerque, NM, Linda L. McLaren of Pembrook Pines, FL and Barbara Walker of Elkton; sister, Bernice James of Aberdeen; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He was predeceased by 4 siblings.
