Edward R. Baker, age 81, of Englewood, FL passed away on March 7, 2013 at his home. Born in Chalestown, WV, he was the son of the late Frank and Elizabeth Thompson Liberto. He retired from the U.S. Army in 1968 and was a lifelong member of the VFW Post 10178 and DAV Florida Chapter 97. In 1981 he retired from Bethlehem Steel and for 11 years, owned and operated ENC Landscaping in Florida. He will be missed by all.
Mr. Baker is survived by his wife, Ruby C. Baker; son, Edward F. Baker and wife, Donna, of Essex, MD; daughters, Nancy L. Pecora and husband, Mike, of FL and Honey Metzbower and husband, Steve, of Ellicott City, MD; stepchildren, Raymond A. Cullum and wife, Shirley, of Philadelphia, PA, Linda G. Blethen of Baltimore, MD, Deborah J. Cullum and Donna M. Edwards both of Cross Roads, PA; brother, Richard Baker and wife, Betty, of Mt. Airy, MD; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, William Baker and sister, Elizabeth Levin.
