Edward Leslie Daugherty Sr.

Edward Leslie Daugherty Sr. was 76 years old when he died on February 11, 2009 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. He was born in Wiley Ford, WV, he was the son of the late Leslie Otto and Rebecca Johnson Daugherty. He was married to the late Kathleen Jett Daugherty for 51 years. He was a resident of Harford County for 36 years. He worked at Bethlehem Steel for 30 years as the Chief Clerk of the Blast Furnace Division. His most avid hobbies included woodworking, masonry, and cars. He loved his family, and most especially his grandchildren.

Mr. Daugherty is survived by his sons, Edward L. Daugherty Jr. and his wife Anna, and David L. Daugherty and his wife Joy, both of Bel Air, MD; daughters, Debra D. Kalm and her husband Richard of Baltimore, MD and Donna L. Tenly of Bel Air, MD; and nine grandchildren, Eddie, Mark, Holly and her husband Jon, Mandy, Shelby, Averi, Hope, David and Liliana. In addition to his parents and his wife, he was predeceased by his son, Allen L. Daugherty and his sister, Naomi R. Thompson.

Honorary pallbearer was Frank Stockman.
