Edward Lawrence Olsen

Edward Lawrence Olsen, age 89, was a long-time resident of Bel Air, MD and had recently moved to Mercy Ridge in Lutherville Timonium, MD within the last year and half. He passed away on February 6, 2021 at Greater Baltimore Medical Center in Towson, Maryland. Born in Woodbridge, New Jersey, he was the son of the late Edward and Carolyn (Hunt) Olsen, Sr., and husband of the Darleen Ellen Olsen. Edward was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was an active volunteer fireman for the Woodbridge Fire Company in New Jersey. He retired from his career as the President of the Insurance Subsidiary of the Bank of Baltimore.

In addition to his loving wife, Edward is survived by his children, Kurt Olsen and his wife Deborah, Bruce Olsen and his wife Karen, Leslie Koharko, and Christopher Olsen and his wife Erika; grandchildren, Jessica, Samuel, Amanda, Benjamin, Katherine, Jennifer, Rebecca, Zachary, Elijah, Alec, Julia, Avery and Cameron.

Services and interment will be private.
