Edward Joseph Hebert, Jr.

EDWARD JOSEPH HEBERT, JR. age 40, of Abingdon, died in Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore on December 28, 2004. Born in Havre de Grace, he was the son of Florence C. Jones of Abingdon and the late Edward Joseph Hebert, Sr. He was a self-employed landscaper, working until his illness prevented him from working. He lived in Maryland until he was 9 years old and then moved to Massachusetts, returning to Maryland just 5 years ago. He loved working in the outdoors and fishing. He was fun-loving and a generous person who enjoyed making people smile. His mom said he would be lovingly remembered and greatly missed.

In addition to his mother, Mr. Hebert is survived by two sisters, Nancy Hebert of Forest Hill, MD; Kim McDermott of Pasadena, MD; nieces, Kathryn Jean McDermott and Rachel Elizabeth McDermott, both of Pasadena, MD. He is also survived by many aunts and uncles. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by one son, Michael Joseph Hebert.
