Edward J. Romecki, Sr.

September 30, 1915 — October 6, 2003

EDWARD J. ROMECKI, SR., age 88, of Edgewood, died at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on October 6, 2003. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Agnes Romecki, and the husband for 61 years of the late Margaret M. Zellinger Romecki. He had worked as a longshoreman. He was a member of the Patapsco Lodge #183 where he had been a former instructor. He was a member of the Boumi Temple and Scottish Rite and of the Dundalk Shrine Club of the Boumi Temple. He served in the Navy During WWII.

Mr. Romecki is survived by a son, Edward J. Romecki, Jr. of Conwingo; two daughters, Joan M. Burns of Parkville; Patricia R. McClung of Bel Air; one brother, Frank Romecki of Overlea; six grandchildren, Brian D. Romecki of Conowingo; Sandra A. Cosentino of Catonsville; Donna M. Abate of Chicago, Illinois; Michelle R. Wanger of San Diego, California; James S. McClung of Forest Hill; Andrew P. McClung of Forest Hill; and four great-grandchildren.
