EDWARD D. LITZINGER SR., age 85, of Aberdeen, MD, died on September 18, 2007 at Perry Point VA Medical Center, Perry Point, MD. Born in Aberdeen, MD, he was the son of the late John Edward and Rachel Virginia Pierce Litzinger. He was an Army veteran serving our country during WWII. He retired from APG-Edgewood Area after 31 years of service where he issued driving tests and was a training foreman. A life member of the VFW in Abingdon, he was also a member of the American Legion in Edgewood. He enjoyed crabbing, working on cars, and spending time with his family.
Mr. Litzinger is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Virginia Litzinger (nee Ruby) of Aberdeen, MD; a son, Edward D. Litzinger Jr. of Aberdeen, MD; five grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a daughter, D. Ann Vancheri.
Pallbearers will be: Patrick Ely, Richard Litzinger, Raymond Mariacker, Joseph Sites, James Baur, and Jeffrey Litzinger.
