Edward Coale

EDWARD “NED” C. COALE, age 87, of Fallston, MD, passed away in his sleep on January 3, 2007, while visiting his daughter for the holidays in Indiana. Born in Aberdeen, MD, he was the son of the late Harry Davis and Elizabeth Hollis Smith Coale and husband of 57 years of the late Miriam L. Beale Coale. A lifetime resident of Harford County, he was a graduate of Aberdeen High School class of 1937. He retired at the age of 70 as a carpenter from the Harford County Board of Education. He also worked for Harlatane Gas Co. A Grange member and an active member of Fallston United Methodist Church and was a charter member of the Raven Ramblers Camping Club. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, basket weaving, traveling, and spending time with family and many friends.

Mr. Coale is survived by one son, Kenneth W. Coale of Fallston, MD; one daughter, Susan Coale Reichanadter of Morresville, IN; and three grandchildren, Harold Chase Zancanata of St. Louis, MO, Casey Reichanadter of Indianapolis, IN, and Zahara Coale of Fallston, MD.

Pallbearers will be members of the Raven Ramblers Camping Club.
