Edward Charles Novak

EDWARD CHARLES NOVAK, age 65, of Churchville, MD, died on March 15, 2008 at Gilchrist Center in Towson, MD. Born in Massena, NY, he was the son of the late Stephen Thomas and Ellen Marie McKenna Novak. He enjoyed golfing, gardening, biking, and traveling with his wife. He also enjoyed working with wood, which included building his own home and many pieces of their furniture. He was a school teacher for 36 years teaching technology for 6 years at Brushton-Moira Central School in Brushton, NY, State University of New York (S.U.N.Y.) in Oswego, NY and for 30 years in Baltimore County at Perry Hall Middle, Cockeysville Middle, Patapsco Middle and Golden Ring Middle Schools.

Mr. Novak is survived by his wife of 41 years, Arlene Louise Guzicki Novak of Churchville, MD; two sons, Mark J. Novak and his wife, Heather, of Palm Bay, FL and Christopher E. Novak and his wife, Michele, of Browns Summit, NC; one daughter, Stephanie E. Novak and her fiancé, Daniel Kuster, of St. Louis, MO; two brothers, Peter Novak and his wife, Judy, of Palm Coast, FL and Alson Novak and his wife, Cherrie, of Massena, NY; three sisters, Mary Ellen O'Neil of Schenectady, NY, Martha Fletcher and her husband, Clifford "Bub", of New Hartford, NY, and Carolyn Buttonschon of Mohawk, NY; and three grandchildren, Marek Aiden Novak of Palm Bay, FL, Emma Stephanie Novak and Jack Christopher Novak of Browns Summit, NC; and stepmother, Elizabeth Theresa Novak of Massena, NY. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Novak.
