Edward "Bud" Leroy Brittain Sr.

Edward "Bud" Leroy Brittain Sr., age 70, of Street, MD passed away on November 24, 2013 at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Blair Harrison and Helen Isabelle Hunter Brittain. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, he was a Harford County resident since 1980. He retired from BGE in 1993 after 27 years of service and worked alongside his son, who he considered his best friend, at his business Brittain Welding. He loved old cars and going to car shows and never missed children's athletics.

Mr. Brittain is survived by his wife of 47 years, Linda Ann Brittain; son, Edward Leroy Brittain Jr. and wife, Patricia, of Street, MD; daughters, Michelle Lynn Rovine and husband, Timothy, of Port Deposit and Carrie Sue Brittain of Street, MD; grandchildren, Ryan, Matthew, Jonathan, Benjamin, Brent, Elizabeth and Eddie III; special nephew, Jake Gillespie; and a host of nieces and nephews.
