Edna Walker Blevins

EDNA WALKER BLEVINS, age 93, born September 22, 1909 in Ashe County, North Carolina; lived in Bel Air for most of her life; died in McKendree Health Care, Hermitage, Tennessee, on February 20, 2003. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gwyn W. Blevins, Sr. She was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church in Bel Air, MD.

Mrs. Blevins is survived by two sons, Gwyn W. “Bud” Blevins, Jr. and wife, Vickie, of Memphis, Tennessee; John F. Blevins and wife, Debra, of Ellicott City, Maryland; one daughter, Nancy Blevins Ryals and husband, DeLane, of Nashville, Tennessee; one sister, Iola W. Weaver of Media, Pennsylvania. Edna had a great love of children, especially her grand and great grandchildren.

Pallbearers were: Michael Blevins, Scott Blevins, Jason Blevins, Eugene Poole, Ralph Walls, and Doug Keithley.
