Edna Lorraine Collins, age 95, of Jarrettsville, Maryland passed away on August 29, 2021 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, Maryland. Born in Rocks, Maryland, she was the daughter of David and Mattie (Grace) Ayers and wife of the late James Cockerham and Floyd F. Collins. Edna worked for over 20 years as a baker in the school cafeteria at North Harford High School. She enjoyed crocheting, vegetable farming, canning and traveling, especially to visit her brother in Florida and her sister in Reno, Nevada.
Edna is survived by her daughter, Kathleen J. (James) Bonham; son-in-law Dale Johnson; grandchildren, J.D. (Amber) Bonham and David C. Bonham; and great-grandchildren, Katie, Jesse & Tyler Bonham.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Judith Johnson, brothers, Woodrow Ayers and Roy Ayers and sister, Lena Code.
