Edith Rose Leydig

Edith Rose Leydig, age 86, of Forest Hill, MD, passed away on November 19, 2014 at her home. Born in Cresaptown, MD, she is the daughter of the late Trubadour and Bertie Elizabeth Porter Lewis and wife of 60 years to the late Glenn Allen Leydig. A proud graduate of Allegany High School, she had worked as a secretary for an insurance company and the federal government. She was a member and volunteer at Bel Air United Methodist Church, and the Homemakers Club for many years. She loved sports, especially the Washington Redskins and the Capitals.

Mrs. Leydig is survived by her son, Craig Leydig and wife, Lisa, of Odenton; daughter, Carol Pazdersky and husband, Daniel, of Lutherville; brother, David Lewis Sr.; and grandchildren, Christian, Elizabeth and Rachel Pazdersky, Cameron, Luke and Brooke Leydig.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her brother, Robert Lewis.
