On Tuesday May 22, 2018 Edith Riley Hanson of Jarrettsville, Maryland passed away. Daughter of the late Harry Clifford Knopp and the late Henrietta Reynolds Knopp. Wife of the late Charles H. Riley and the late Charles H. Hanson. Mother of Bessie Friend and husband Richard; Robert Riley and wife Patricia; Barry Riley and wife Susan; Bruce Riley and wife Sandy and Barbara Christine Hanson. She is predeceased by 4 brothers- Martin; Wilson; Paul; and Ellis. Edith is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 12 Great-Grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the Kurtz Funeral Home 1114 Baldwin Mill Road Jarrettsville, Maryland 21084. On Tuesday May 29, 2018 from 5-8 PM and on Wednesday May 30, 2018 from 9:30 AM -10:00 AM.
