Edith (Edie) M. Cuffley

EDITH “EDIE” M. CUFFLEY, age 73, of Havre de Grace, MD, died on August 27, 2006 at her home. Born in Street, MD, she was the daughter of the late William Azil and Jessie Ella Morris Anderson. She worked at Bata Shoe Company for 20 yrs. and was a homemaker, who enjoyed her family and friends. She was a very active member of St. John’s Baptist Church, where she cared for the children in the nursery. Her main desire was to love and serve the Lord.

Mrs. Cuffley is survived by her husband of 50 years whom she dearly loved, Rev. Raymond B. Cuffley; three sons, Raymond B. Cuffley, Jr. of Havre de Grace, MD, Dewey W. Cuffley of Havre de Grace, MD, and Philip E. Wagner, Jr. of Cincinnati, OH; five daughters, Joann Przelenski of Abingdon, MD, and Dolores A. Branning, Donna S. Moore, Clara C. Hall and Tammy L. Perry, all of Havre de Grace, MD; 21 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a dear friend, Nellie L. Johnson of Aberdeen, MD.

Pallbearers will be Dewey W. Cuffley, Philip E. Wagner, Jr., Harlan D. Moore, David A. Cuffley, Douglas W. Cuffley and Frederick W. Burkentine. Honorary pallbearers will be Kenneth S. Perry, Jr., Robert R. Perry and Samantha L. Wagner.
