Edith A. Blevins

EDITH A. BLEVINS, age 82, of Bel Air, MD, died on August 2, 2008 at Citizens Care Center in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Atkins, VA, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Bailey Wassum Sr. and Edna Earl Leftridge Wassum and wife of the late Rev. John W. Blevins. A resident of Harford County her entire life, she was a quilt maker, a member of the Rebekah's Lodge, and enjoyed her family.

Mrs. Blevins is survived by three sons, Major John A. Blevins of Wheeling, WV, Robert T. Blevins Sr. and Phillip W. Blevins, both of Bel Air, MD; three daughters, Shirley L. Kiger of Baltimore, MD, Sharon A. Clark of Machipongo, VA, and Sandra G. Chandler of Perryville, MD; a brother, Arthur B. Wassum Jr. of Perryman, MD; twelve grandchildren and twenty four great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Blevins, Scott Plunkett, Jeremy Clark, Shawn Chandler, Joshua Blevins, Robert Blevins Jr., Randy Plunkett, Todd Chandler, and Clifton Chandler III.
