Edgar Donovan Anderson

EDGAR DONOVAN ANDERSON, age 89, of Aberdeen, died in Eagle View Elder Care in Whiteford on February 23, 2005. Born in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Frank and Minnie Cleary Anderson and the husband of the late Thelma F. Anderson and Helen Anderson Boggs. He was a truck driver all his life and worked 20 years for the Meade Concrete Pipe Company. He was a resident of Harford County for over 50 years. He served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II.

Mr. Anderson is survived by two sons, W. Richard Anderson, Sr. of Whiteford; Donald R. Anderson, Sr. of Stafford, Virginia; one daughter, Judy M. VanGosen of Whiteford; ten grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents and wifes, he was predeceased by one son, David L. Anderson; one daughter, Barbara A. Anderson; and eight brothers and sisters.


Pallbearers will be his grandsons, William R. Anderson, Jr., Donald R. Anderson, Jr., Matthew D. Anderson, D. Keith VanGosen, and Jeffrey S. VanGosen and his great grandson, Chris Slunt.
