Eddie Couvillon

It is with a heavy heart that the family of Edward “Eddie” Bernard Couvillon announces his untimely passing on March 01, 2024. Born on September 03,1949 to Martha “Betty” and Louis Joseph Couvillon in Texas City, Texas. Eddie had an immense passion for music, both playing the guitar in bands and dancing. An avid lover of fitness and outdoor activities, Eddie was dedicated to the gym, running, skiing, scuba diving, and, later in life, walking. Ed loved to joke with friends and always had a positive outlook on life. As a professional, Ed spent his career working in various positions as a member of the IBEW Local Union 527. Upon leaving the electrical construction field Eddie became a professional computer programmer with the Bayer Corporation. 

Eddie resided in Bel Air, MD the last several years of his life. Eddie enjoyed the prayers and community of St. Margaret Catholic Church in Bel Air, Md. He was surrounded by family when he passed at the age of 74. He is preceded in death by his father, Louis Joseph Couvillon, his mother Martha “Betty” Elizabeth Keith, his stepfather C. B. Keith, and his beloved daughter Kristi Marie Couvillon-Wise. Ed is survived by his cherished granddaughter Vivienne Wise, brother and sister-in-law Louis Blake and Jacqueline Couvillon, nieces and nephew Heather Couvillon Lufburrow and her husband Andrew “Andy”, Elizabeth, Madeline and Charles, nephew Ivan Couvillon and his wife Paige and niece Camellia Couvillon.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation at 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018, in honor of Eddie’s memory.

Eddie's family will be holding a private Interment.
