EARL SAMUEL MUSICK, age 68, of Edgewood, Maryland, died at his residence on June 25, 2004. Born in Cleveland, Virginia in 1936, he was son of the late Cummings Musick and Leatha Hall Cantler. Mr. Musick graduated from high school in 1952 at the age of 16. He was educated at Johns Hopkins University. He worked for the U.S. Government at Aberdeen Proving Ground from 1952 until his retirement on January 3, 1993. He was chief of cost accounting from 1967 to 1976. He held numerous positions at A .P .G. Edgewood Arsenal including Program Analyst, Budget Analyst, and Cost Accountant. He was granted several promotions and accommodations for superior performance. Mr. Musick was a man of great character and integrity. He set a fine example for his children and was a devoted husband.
Mr. Musick is survived by his wife whom he married in 1956, Gayle Centers Musick; one son, Stephen Earl Musick of Bel Air; one daughter, Pamela Musick Chastain and her husband, Dan of Cumberland, MD; two brothers, Clyde Musick of Churchville, MD; William Musick of Spring Hill, Florida; three sisters, Betty Ziehl of Cape Coral, Florida; Winnie Eberly of New Providence, Pennsylvania; and Juanita Wilson of Cleveland, Virginia.
