Earl "Bud" G. Pumphrey, age 74, of Edgewood, MD passed away on April 16, 2015 at his home. Born in the Forest Park area of Baltimore on August 1, 1940 to Jean Lentz and Gorman Pumphrey, he graduated from Bel Air High School in 1959. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served our country from 1961 to 1964. He was employed by the Department of Defense at APG from 1967 to 1999 and was a life member of Kingsville Volunteer Fire Department, and a member of Salem United Methodist Church. He enjoyed fishing, boating, camping, visiting National and State Parks, and especially spending time with family and his grandchildren.
Mr. Pumphrey is survived by his wife of 48 years, Barbara Nolan Pumphrey: two sons, Todd Pumphrey and wife Dawn and Kevin Pumphrey and wife Amy; and three grandchildren, Kyle, Anna and Ethan.
