Earl B. Young

EARL B. YOUNG, retired teamster 557, the founder and president of Joppatowne Powder Burners Gun Club, custodian of First Presbyterian Church of Bel Air, lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, died March 18, 2004 at his home in Joppa. He was 76. Born on May 16, 1927 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Edward and Bertha Young. He served his country in the U. S. Army during W. W. II.

Mr. Young is survived by his wife of 49 years, Joan E. Young; a son, Earl V. Young and his wife, Nadine of Omaha, Nebraska; daughters, Donna A. Thomas and her husband, Robert of Joppatowne; and Sandra A. D’Anna and her husband, Vince of Forest Hill; two brothers, William Young of Pasadena; Edward Young, Jr. of Baltimore; eight grandchildren, Kimberly and Kevin Thomas of Joppatowne; Ashley Whitesel and her husband, Jason ; Melissa, Nina, Laura, Angelo, Katie D’Anna all of Forest Hill; and a great-grandson, Jordon Whitesel of Forest Hill.
