E. Joan Kress

E. Joan Kress, age 86, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on January 8, 2018 at Forest Hill Health & Rehabilitation Center in Forest Hill, Maryland. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of John Francis Duerr and Ethel (Waters) Duerr and was the wife of the late Edwin Morris Kress. Joan was a devoted wife, mother, mother-in-law, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved her family very much and dedicated her life to them all. She always went the extra mile to make sure all the family gatherings were very special. From the presents under the tree, Easter egg hunts, Thanksgiving turkey dinner, and crab feast in the back yard it was always perfect. She created many memories for her family to cherish and remember. She will be dearly missed.

Mrs. Kress is survived by her children; Linda Ward and husband, Jessie, Ed Kress and wife, Vera, John Kress and wife, Sharon, Bill Kress and wife, Barb; grandchildren, John Ward, Laura Moran, Jenny Cromer, Russell Kress, Jessica Kress, Justin Kress, Amy Dulin; great-grandchildren, Brian and Elise Moran, Clayton and Emma Cromer, Wesley and Ryann and Baby to be Kress, Grady Lee Kress; and her late brother, Jack Duerr and his wife, Jean.
