Dr. Angelo Tirri

Angelo Tirri, M.D., age 91, passed away unexpectedly on February 6, 2014. Born in Licata, Sicily, he lived in the Brunswick area most of his life, where he was a respected Obstetrician/Gynecologist for many years. Also affiliated with St. Joseph's Hospital on Caroline Street, Johns Hopkins and Franklin Square Hospitals. Dr. Tirri was proud to continue his education throughout his life by attending weekly medical lectures and retained his medical license until his death. He attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Randolph, as well as other churches. He enjoyed getting together with his friends for weekly breakfast meetings at McDonalds. Dr. Tirri was a strong, kind and very generous man who loved his family very deeply, especially his grandchildren.

Preceded in death by his son, Joseph, he is survived by sons, John and Michael (Sandy); daughters, Mary Ann (Dave) Talbott and Angela (Darrell) French; grandchildren, Sarah, Hannah, Joseph, Anthony and Sydnee; brothers and sisters who reside in Sicily; and many nieces and nephews who reside in Baltimore; and the mother of his children, Margaret Ann Tirri (nee Alexander).
