Doyle Ledford

Doyle Ledford, age 85, of Port Deposit, MD passed away on January 18, 2019 at Harford Memorial Hospital in Havre de Grace, MD. Born in Bakersville, North Carolina, he was the son of the late Green and Julie (McKenny) Ledford and husband of Nancy. He was a thirty-year member of the New Life Baptist Church, a deacon, and one of its founding members. His family was his life.

Ledford is survived by two sons, Tommy (Sandy) and Bryan; one daughter, Sharon (John); grandchildren, Jason (Erika), Kelly (Jesse), Jeremy (Julie), and Nate; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters Beulah, Bernice, and Ethel; and also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Lelia, Dalis, and Blanche.
