Douglas Steven Crouse

Douglas Steven Crouse, age 60, of Abingdon, Maryland passed away on September 1, 2021, at Sterling Care Riverside in Belcamp, Maryland. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, he was the son of Edsel and Ellen (Porter) Crouse. Doug was a member of Bel Air Fire Company from 1977-1978 and Abingdon Fire Company since 1993 where he was an officer, Past Chief and currently a Retired Life Member. He enjoyed listening to music.

Douglas is survived by his three sons; Connor Crouse, Carson Crouse and Cooper Crouse; daughter, Kendall Crouse; ex-wife, Melanie Crouse; and two brothers, William J. Crouse and James Alan Crouse.

He was preceded in death by brother, Edsel B. Crouse, Jr. and sister, Pamela Ann Crouse.

Visitation will be held under the caring guidance of the family owned and operated McComas Funeral Home, Abingdon, Maryland on Thursday, September 9, 2021, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Services will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021, at Abingdon Fire Company at 10:00 am.

Interment will take place in Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
