Douglas Ellsworth Cloman, II, age 37, passed away on December 16, 2021. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, he was the son of Douglas and Kelly (Haley) Cloman and Stepmother Misti Cloman. He was a life member of the National Rifle Association, Korean War Veteran's Association- Maryland Chapter and member of the Sons of the American Legion. Doug was an avid outdoorsman. He played baseball and enjoyed the gym. He loved his children, their sports and spending time with all his family and friends. He was an old soul and had special places in his heart for his grandparents, parents, and brother. He was a highly successful hunter, fisherman and spent many hours enjoying the outdoors with his dad, brother, and godfather. He introduced his children to his outdoor passions. He owned boats and enjoyed boating on the Chesapeake Bay. He was a marksman in shooting sports. He had a passion for military history and attended many events with his grandparents. He loved participating in Honor Guard activities for military veteran, fire service and law enforcement gatherings. He was proud of his ancestry from all sides of his family steeped in military and public service. He was a hard worker. He grew vegetables from a young age and sold them. He loved old farm equipment. He drove tractors, did field work, and participated in Cecil County Fair events with family and friends. He and his brother Jeb teamed and restored an antique Farmall H tractor to its original wartime configuration. He embraced work and pursued many fields with driving passion including agriculture, plumbing, HVAC, government service and transportation fields. He was a wonderful cook. He canned vegetables and loved entertaining with his prepared food and dishes. He loved to read. When time was available, he enjoyed writing poetry.
In addition to his parents, Douglas is survived by his brother, "Jeb" Daniel Jebidiah Ellis Cloman; Sons Jacob Ellsworth Cloman and James Thomas Cloman; Daughter, Haley Joyce Cloman; Grandmother, Marie Esther Dunsmore; two Special Friends, Mary Anne O'Donnell, John Michael Costa; Grandfather, Walter Lee Dunsmore; Two Grandmothers, Constance Colleen Cloman, D'Lane Ellis; Grandfather, Donald R Ellis; Uncle, Donald R Ellis, Jr.; Aunt, Rhonda Ellis; Godfather, Jack D Phipps, Jr.; Godmother, Janet Phipps; Uncle, Steven Haley; Aunt, Christine Haley; .
He was preceded in death by Grandfathers, George Gary Haley, and Jack Ellsworth Cloman.
