Douglas "Doug" Richard Smith

Douglas "Doug" Richard Smith, age 56, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on September 13, 2022. Born in Havre de Grace, Maryland, he is the son of Mary (Knopp) Smith and the late Richard Smith. He liked kayaking, music, the beach, crabs, cars and motorcycles, being a firefighter and EMS volunteer, hard work, being outdoors, kids, family, and friends, watching the Ravens, home projects, and helping others. He was a man that went above and beyond in all aspects of life. He was a friend to everyone.

Douglas is survived by his daughter, Jennifer "Jenn" Smith; son, Richard "Rick" Douglas Smith, daughter-in-law, Kelsey Smith; brother, Steven William Smith; grandchildren, RJ Smith, Peyton Smith; and significant other, Val Hopkins.
