Dottie L. Shepard

Dorothy (Dottie) L. Shepard, age 61, of Edgewood, MD, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2011 at her home. Born in Long Branch, WV, she was the daughter of the late Tracey Ray and Ines Marie Kise Shepard. She worked for over 25 years as a Police Dispatcher at Havre de Grace Police Department and Aberdeen Proving Ground. She loved to shop, liked cooking, baking, gardening and was an avid dog lover rescuing seven wonderful dogs over her life most recently being Lilly and Vicky, and her cat, Chili.

Ms. Shepard is survived by her son, Michael Burns of Hollywood, CA; brothers, Ray Shepard of Baltimore, MD, Grover R. Shepard of Abingdon, MD, Jerry Shepard of Joppa, MD and Tracey Shepard of Bel Air, MD; and sisters, Rhonda Bundrick of Dundalk, MD, Gail Young of Joppatowne, MD and Janet Anders of Bel Air, MD. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Howard Shepard and sister, Helen Mullins.
