Dorothy Marion Freitag

Dorothy Marion Freitag, age 73, of Bel Air, Maryland passed away on December 5, 2020 at her home. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, she was the daughter of Marion Arthur Smithson and Pearl Pauline (Pelky) Glassell. She worked as a pharmacy technician for Giant Food for over 30 years, was an avid quilter and member of quilting clubs. She loved her family, being a Mom-Mom, her flowers beds and teaching her grandchildren the love of sewing.

Dorothy is survived by her husband Carl Freitag, III; daughters, Christine M. Treptow and Carolyn P. Treptow; son, Brian T. Treptow; step-children, Scott Freitag, Christopher Freitag and Stephanie Freitag-Sauter; 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 1 more due any day.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Patricia Smithson-Adams.
