Dorothy M. Edwards

DOROTHY M. EDWARDS, age 67, of Edgewood, MD, died on February 20, 2008 at Upper Chesapeake Medical Center in Bel Air, MD. Born in Ennice, NC, she was the daughter of the late Elmer Ray and Este Nellie Dancy Spurlin and wife of the late William Marshall Edwards Sr. She retired after 26 years from Best Western Hotel in Abingdon where she was a housekeeper. She enjoyed Ocean City and going on breakfast outings. She also enjoyed family reunions and watching her show "The Young and the Restless".

Mrs. Edwards is survived by three sons,
William M. Edwards Jr. and his wife, Sandy, of Abingdon, MD, Arnold D. Edwards and his wife, Tammy, of Colora, MD, and Rodney A. Edwards and his companion, Debbie, of Edgewood, MD; three brothers, Keith Spurlin and his wife, Betty, of Rising Sun, MD, Dewey Spurlin and his wife, Betty, of Conowingo, MD, and Kenny Spurlin of Joppa, MD; four sisters, Eva Harris and her husband, Richard, of Bel Air, MD, Vickie Bohus and her husband, Gerald, of Mt. Jackson, VA, Annie Calvin and her husband, Jim, of Bel Air, MD, and Judy Fisher and her husband, Harvey, of Havre de Grace, MD; eight grandchildren, Connie Edwards of Edgewood, MD, William Edwards III of Rosedale, MD, Joshua Edwards of Shepardstown, WV, Samantha Edwards of Reisterstown, MD, Taylor Edwards and Marshall Edwards, both of Colora, MD, Galen Edwards of Joppa, MD, and Tina Allio of Essex, MD; and seven great-grandchildren. Also survived by two sister-in-laws, Evelyn Rose and her husband, Floyde, of New Park, PA and Laura Edwards of Cockeysville, MD.

Pallbearers were William M. Edwards III, Joshua A. Edwards, Galen M. Edwards, Kenny Fisher, Danny Fisher, and Brian Rose.
