Dorothy Jeanette Thompson

Dorothy Jeanette Thompson, 78, of Havre de Grace, MD passed away on June 6, 2015 at her home. Born in Detroit, MI, she was the daughter of the late Paul Howard and Sophie Kolkot Skalniak. An Air Force wife and homemaker, she was an avid square dancer and cat and dog lover. She was an independent, sweet and caring person, greatly loved by her family.

Ms. Thompson is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Ron and Peggy Thompson, of Bel Air; daughter, Connie Glassman of Havre de Grace; and grandchildren, Stephen Thompson, Clayton Glassman, Katherine Rice, Jason Thompson and Garrett Glassman. In addition to her parents, four brothers and two sisters, she was predeceased by her son-in-law, Richard Glassman.

A graveside service will be held at noon on Wednesday June 10th at the Rock Run United Methodist Church followed. A reception hosted by the family will follow.
