Dorothy Jane Minnick

DOROTHY JANE MINNICK, age 65, of Bel Air, died in Upper Chesapeake Medical Center on June 28, 2003. Born in Quarryville, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Albert LeRoy and Laura Kathryn Long Herr. A resident of Harford County for 43 years, she worked at Fallston General Hospital in environmental services for 15 years. Her number one priority was raising her grandchildren. She loved to read autobiographies, collect cookie jars and cross stitch quilts for her grandchildren. She also enjoyed traveling to Florida.

Mrs. Minnick is survived by her husband whom she married in 1959, Richard Lee Minnick, Sr.; one son, Richard Minnick, Jr. of Cape Coral, Florida; three daughters, Connie Wisniewski of Bel Air; Melodye Wyatt of Fawn Grove, Pennsylvania; Deborah Oleszczuk of Bel Air; one brother, Jack Herr of Pennsylvania; four sisters, Mary Seneft; Bonnie Stifler; Nancy Herr; Joyce Dale, all of Pennsylvania; six grandchildren, Michael Minnick; Tammi Weise; Christopher Wyatt; Kady Wyatt; Morgan Reeve; and Nicholas Oleszczuk.

Pallbearers will be: Bryan Oleszczuk, Mike Wyatt, Gary Reeve, Christopher Wyatt, Michael Minnick, and Jason Minnick.
